Dr Seshika Ratwatte

Seshika is a cardiologist who completed her medical degree through the University of Newcastle where she graduated with distinction. Seshika completed her basic physician training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and advanced training in cardiology at Concord Hospital, where she received the Registrar of the Year Award in 2021 for her leadership and teaching contributions, as well as clinical excellence.

Seshika is currently undertaking her Doctor of Philosophy through the University of Sydney with her research focused pulmonary hypertension and left heart disease. Her research has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals and has presented at both national and international conferences on topics including pulmonary hypertension, coronary artery disease and cardiac imaging.

Seshika’s clinical interests include management of heart failure, cardiovascular risk, valvular heart disease and pulmonary hypertension.
