We open as early as 7am and end our day at 5pm.
Time for your appointment is allocated according to the type of appointment or test needed.
For your first appointment, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time to complete new patient forms. Or save time by completing our Online Patient Booking Form. Bring your current medicare card, pension or other concession card. A valid referral ensures you can claim Medicare rebates and informs the cardiologist of the background to your condition.
Patients claiming a Medicare rebate require a valid referral from their GP or hospital.
Patients not intending to claim a rebate do NOT require a referral.
We accept referrals from GPs and other specialists.
Our policy requires all accounts to be settled in full at each appointment. We are then able to lodge your claim with Medicare for your rebate entitlement – with your valid referral. While we are a private billing cardiology practice, we do offer discounted rates for pensioners and health care card holders.
We understand that plans change and appointments need to be rescheduled or cancelled. Wherever possible, we ask that scheduled appointments be cancelled at the earliest opportunity, and preferably 48 hours before the appointment time. Providing 48 hours notice allows us to offer your appointment to another patient who may need to see a doctor more urgently.

We appreciate that your time is valuable and do endeavor to run on time. Unfortunately due to unpredictable circumstances such as patient emergencies we may on occasion run late and appreciate your patience and understanding should this occur.
We are conveniently located opposite Burwood Park and a block away from Westfield Shopping Centre. Our building offers wheelchair access with taxi or car drop offs possible directly outside the main doors. Alternately, parking is available at Level 6, 74 -76 Burwood Road, Burwood (corner of Meryla Street and opposite Burwood Park). Garage access via Meryla Street.
